स्वतंत्र भारत का प्रथम मंत्रिमंडल | First Cabinet of Independent India


भारत के 15 अगस्त, 1947 में आज़ाद होने के बाद देश के प्रथम प्रधान मंत्री जवाहरलाल नेहरू ने 15 सदस्यीय मंत्रिमंडल का गठन किया था। इस मंत्रिमंडल में सभी वर्गों और समुदायों को उचित स्थान दिया गया, उन्हें भी जो विचारधारा के स्तर पर जवाहरलाल नेहरू के विरुद्ध थे। पंडित जवाहर लाल नेहरू ने प्रथम प्रधानमंत्री के रूप में पद ग्रहण किया और वायसराय लॉर्ड माउंटबेटन ने पहले गवर्नर जनरल के रूप में अपना पदभार संभाला। पहले मंत्रिमंडल में चौदह मंत्रियों को शामिल किया गया था जिन्होंने 15 अगस्त 1947 से कार्य करना आरम्भ कर दिया था।
